Tipped Bullets

Note: Sanrio legal counsel has contacted me because they realize that their fans are not bright enough to know what is an official Sanrio product and what is not. They didn’t feel that this would be a problem until the fans started contacting them directly, and they soon realized how painful it was to actually have to converse with a fanatic, and not even they had the patience to actually do this. As a result, they sent out a notice to me begging for me to take down my posts about guns that had the evil feline on them just so they didn’t have to ever correspond with the fanatics again. When I explained that they brought it on themselves, they pleaded that I spare them the torture that they inflict on me on a daily basis and asked me to post the following, Since I actually have a conscience, here is what they have to say:

Sanrio® has informed us that Sanrio is not involved in the manufacture or sale of Hello Kitty guns or weapons, and does not allow Hello Kitty® to be used to market guns or weapons. The items shown in this post are either digitally fabricated images or were custom-decorated without Sanrio’s permission. Sanrio alleges that creating false digitized images of Hello Kitty guns or weapons, or custom-decorating a real gun or weapon with Hello Kitty art, infringes Sanrio’s copyrights and trademarks, and may violate criminal laws.

And onto the original post…

It really is pretty pathetic when the character who is supposed to spread love and happiness to all has so many Hello Kitty gun models out there that she could start her own army — and that it’s gotten to the point where seeing a new gun isn’t really a surprise anymore. Even more disturbing, you know that there will continue to be more and more because the evil feline will brand anything to earn an extra buck. So one might make the mistake and imagine that we’d seen the worst when it came to the one with no mouth and firearms, but anyone who has followed this blog knows that doing so merely means that you’re deluding yourself because it appears that she is now looking to produce a line of Hello Kitty tipped bullets (far more terrifying than any hollow point bullet)

Note: Due to a DMCA copyright notice from the lawyers of Sanrio, we were forced to censor this image

You know that there was someone at Sanrio that thought, “Hey, what’s the best way to spread all that love that Hello Kitty offers? Maybe if we put her on bullets, we could literally shoot her into people’s hearts. Wouldn’t that be great? I mean, if people are going to kill each other, they might as well do it with the love of Hello Kitty. And as a bonus, we can make more money!”

Just one more thing to fear living in Hello Kitty Hell…

  1. Some people are sooooo busy finding something to complain about, but are too stupid to actually research anything. Both the gun and the ammo are a computer generated image, you can contact the company listed on the gun if you would like. Then you would see that no such gun exists. What a moron. Get a life geek!

  2. Pretty mundane Photoshop. The shadow of the clip, bullets and gun are all over the place.
My Mr HKH be forced to ride the Hello Kitty airplane on a world tour for falling for a CGI fake gun.

  3. FYI….hello kitty/sanrio does not market any kind of guns with her likeness on them. You have to get them custom-made and they are Hella expensive! Trust me, I looked into it! U can’t blame HK & Sanrio if fans have put her on guns, weapons, drug paraphanalia, sexual objects, etc…..I’m sure none of it is licensed or okay-ed by Sanrio!….Just sayin!

  4. To be sure, Mr. HKH didn’t claim this to be an actual product. He writes, “looking to produce,” so it’s clear from the post that this gun and bullets have not been made yet.

But he does lose points for implying that this would be a Sanrio product, which is obviously false.

  5. The plot thickens
Sanrio’s DMCA is the “smoking gun ” Mr. Hello Kitty Hell has fallen for a fake Hello Kitty gun . There is more to the story. recently CNN in their anti gun bias reported an accidentally shooting using Hello Kitty AR-15, the actual gun was not a Hello Kitty gun.
The story was lifted for a badly biased story on the Houston Chronicle which they they showed a photoshopped Hello Kitty AR-15.

  7. Sanrio stuff is faked so much. It wouldn’t surprise me if this was a real image however it does look fake to me. I’m sorry but I do say that the company should have some right to protect their image especially when the image could be faked. <3

  8. That is honestly the dumbest piece of crap to ever waste that type of resources, money and time on. You’ve taken something completely badass and made it into a vagina that pisses rainbows.

And if this is CG or Photoshopped, then the same statement applies x2 because you had to make it on a computer.

Do the world a favor and put that gun to your head and pull the trigger.

  10. I you-know-what love a Hello Kitty gun. The reason being I love the feeling of shooting a hand gun. Would I kill someone with a Hello Kitty gun, or any other gun available? Well Yes if it was nor protection reasons only.
